I found this little gem of an article and thought it was totally worthy of passing on. Being that I love to cook and that I am in college, this low budget look at how to properly stock a kitchen was great. I think I will be heading down to my local kitchen supply shop soon.

As of this very moment I am sitting in my DSGD 105 (intermediate graphic design) looking at my final portfolio. That means lady’s and gentlemen that I am done! All that is left is nerve racked nights waiting for a letter in the mail but until then I will enjoy this momentary joy and say this. I’m done. More to come later…

I know I’m not blogging much but I promise I’ll be back soon. This nightmare will all be over on Wednesday when I turn in my graphic design portfolio. So while I try to keep a professional type blog going here I will be honest and tell you all that I am not an expert nor a professional. As a result I am learning things all the time. So on the topic of pingbacks and trackbacks I am a bit of a newbee. So let me say it now, if you have ever sent a pingback or trackback and I have deleted it I am sorry. I generally delete comments that I don’t recognize but I have learned the error of my ways and will no longer be deleting them. On the good side, I now understand how they work and will be explaining it to you all soon. So until next time…

Well I thought I would at least mention it. It seems I forgot to tell the world that I turned 21. So… yeah… yesterday was my birthday and now I’m 21. Like always, there isn’t much of a difference.

For those of you who don’t fallow hockey the Sharks were knocked out of the playoffs on Monday with there game six loss to the Detroit Red Wings. During the Sharks push for the Stanley Cup I did my bes to support my team. I watched the games, I wore my hat, and I grew my playoff beard. Unfortunately, it was to no avail this season but we can hope for next season right. So what good can come out of all this? Well the young Sharks team has gained some valuable experience and hopefully can learn from it. They should also have some real motivation to win next season after three seasons of getting so close. Another good thing that can be brought out of this is that FSN found it in there hearts to give my playoff beard some acknowledgment. I’m on the site and everything… pretty sweet! However, the Sharks did lose and as a result I cleaned up the beard. Below are the before and after pictures. The playoff beard will return… it will just have to wait a year.

I have been a San Jose Sharks fan since I could remember. Being that the Sharks are the only NHL team in northern California and that I happened to end up in college in San Jose I again am in a position to support my sharks. And to add to it I have had the privilege to even work at the Shark Tank putting me just about as close to the Sharks as one could want. Well how about playoff apperances ever year since the strike and quite possibly the best season the Sharks have played ever. Well today is game six in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Detroit Red Wings. The Sharks are down 3-2 in the series after some disappointing losses. Its important to remember that too! The Sharks lost those games. The Red Wings have yet to really dominate a game. The game will be on at 6pm on FSN… So lets all root the Sharks to an important 2 wins to stay alive with a collective

Lets Go Sharks!!!

::update:: Unfortunately the Sharks have been bumped out of the second round of playoffs in game six for the third year in a row. A beyond disappointing 2-0 loss brought the series and Sharks season to an end. All that is left now for Sharks fans is just the hope that next year the Sharks will learn from three years of expierence and win a cup for San Jose.

I don’t really need to say much on the topic of the holocaust. I just felt that a quick look at our past is never enough. This should never be forgotten. There are more photos in the gallery
