So, I would like to start by saying that the fact that I can bring you this post just blows my mind. I am sitting in my best friend Jon’s cabin after a long day of snowboarding (on the first decent snow of the season). Now it may not seem like that big of a deal but being at 6000′+ in an area that doesn’t even have cell reception in town let alone at the cabin might put things in perspective a bit. So I was sitting down after a tired day and I broke out my laptop to do some studying for art history, yes not only do I play hard but I also try to work hard, and I noticed not only was I picking up someone’s wifi but it was unsecured! So… wham bam I bring you my blog.

I don’t really have a whole lot more to say except that this weekend has been nuts. I brought my new Nikon d80 with me up to the mountain in hopes to snap some great action shots but just never got around to it. If I could justify spending what is likely to be the only slope time I will get this season on snapping pictures I would but the snow was just to good and I was far to busy with actually snowboarding. It was a good day but it was my first time up in nearly a year and while ten years of snowboard experience don’t really ever go away there is no real way to prepare your body for the onslaught that ensues from the first day of the season. Me and Jon came to this realization after both me and him admitted to each other on a chairlift back to the top that despite regularly attending the gym there is no real substitute for being on the mountain. Regardless, we skied till they kicked us off with the only things being said to each other “go big or go home,” and “it’s time to man up!

It is now time that I tell you that I am very tired and that while blogging is great in all there is nothing more in the world that I want more right now then a comfortable bed. So good night world… I will be back on here sometime mid next week as I have two art history mid-terms next week and a graphic design project due. You now know how I roll, hard (ok that was a bit cheesy but I needed a title for this post).

Ok, I just had to say this. My last blog post was so long wordpress had to truncate it to another page. HAHA that amuses me to no end. Love it!

As I promised I will start by finishing the two stories I had previously had promised to post about and finish later. Unfortunately, I have been so busy with other things, that I will address later, that I have likely forgotten much of the details to these stories. However, I will do my best to give these stories justice. So… on with the show!

This was really to good to not tease you all with. So I only this to say. You are really going to want to check back for my next post (likely tomorrow). It is currently 2:30am and I am way past tired. So I’ll make this quick. I believe the words where “Oh a house party” and “we found cocaine” all in the same story! If thats not worth checking back for I don’t know what is. But just in case that isn’t enough I might just throw up some pics of my most recent project. Anywho… I am off to bed.

So it has been a while since I have blogged and that bothers me. However, in my own defence I have started school, launched a new website for a client, (btw: if you haven’t been to www.sugarhillshop.com yet then you are missing out. Jason keeps it very up to date so be sure to check it out) tested out of a design class, moved my girlfriend across town, entered a website design contest, bought a new digital SLR (Nikon d80 = super sweet), and to round out this super update I am now sitting in a goth night club in SF called DeathGuild. I mean what kind of college student would I be if I didn’t ignore my school work to help out a friend and go to a goth night club. As is typical of my live updates you will have to check back for my full run down of the evening.

It would seem that I am getting the blogging bug again. I don’t really know why by whatever it is I am now blogging during class. This probably isn’t the greatest idea but what the hell I feel like emptying my mind.

So, I am sitting in class and there is this very pleasent smell that I cant really put my foinger on. Furthermore. it reminds me of somethung, but of what I don’t really know. Anywho. its driving me crazy and I thought I would let the world know. Alright, back to class now…

::Update::
So I think I might have figured a bit of the phantom smell puzzle out. Not because I have this amazing memory that if I tried hard enough can pull up any random fact that I have stored like where I might have remembered a particular smell but because I leaned over and asked the girl next to me what perfume she was wearing. I think I might have caught her off guard a bit because I think she got the impression I was hitting on her. Which is rather ironic because I was investigating the issue because I was thinking of tracking it down for Lindsay (my girlfriend of 2.5 years). The story isn’t over yet though, the girl replied saying “I’m not wearing perfume, it might be my hear product though. Why do you like it?” ::insert girl playing with hear and a longing face:: I replied with a yes and then dropped the subject. About ten minutes later I realized where the mysterious smell had first burned itself in my head. It was the same hair product as a girl I had dated in high school wore. So the case is now closed and my mind is at rest and for those of you still wondering what smell it was Bed Head curl tamer (Tigi I believe). Oh and due to the obvious connection to the past, it is a scent that I likely will not be purchasing for Linds. It’s just better that way.

For what ever reason I feel like I hnave been swimming i my own mind. A mind of nothing with nothing to really think about and nothing to interest me. Furthermore, I have things I should be doing but can’t find any motivation to do any of them. I have now decided to go clear my head with a little midnight skateboarding. Maybe that will help.
