		<description>It was merely an observation, I mean the the ipod commercials alone are clearly targeted at the younger crowd, and maybe the psychedelic hippie crowed if you think about it. But yeah I completely agree with you on how good Steve Jobs is at his job.</description>

As for the appeal to the older crowd; the thirties + somethings make WAY more than our age bracket, but that doesn't mean they're not ALSO marketing towards us. While the conference attracts people who will pay $40+ to geek out (the older crowd), Apple is directly targeting our age group in commercial ads and by signing young bands onto iTunes. If there's ONE thing Jobs is good at, it's marketing his products into multiple markets. 

Long story short, the Apple market is much much more diverse than you think.</description>
